Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actor who has a reputation for playing powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was raised in a family of actors her father was the playwright and writer Romulus Linney. She graduated at Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. The actress immediately started performing in shows on Broadway before receiving acclaim for her performance on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
