She is currently a living in New York City. Chando started her acting profession in the fall of 2005 at Manhattan College. Chando was the lead character Maddie Coleman on the television soap show As the World turns, which she played from 2005 to 2007 and again for several months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra was first seen on the screen in 2002, with House Blend in 2002 as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, a CBS-aired American soap opera, ran for three seasons. Alexandra was the character Maddie Coleman. Chando starred in American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009; she was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in the series As the World turns. Additionally, she starred in two episodes of Glory Daze as Annabelle. Her TV credits also include Castle and Hindsight.
