American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career as an actor in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also had an acting role in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the season's third. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when she and her mother moved to California. They moved around for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help from her mother around the age of 15.
